When we’re not present there’s conceptual living. Everything is based on our perception of reality instead of reality. Therefore we find ourselves constantly embroiled in disagreements about all our different perceptions…opinions. We think these are truths.
They are:
Contagious pathogens cause disease vs contagion doesn’t exist
The earth is based on the heliocentric model vs flat
DNA dictates cellular activity vs there’s no such thing as DNA
God created everything vs Big Bang vs no thing manifested in everything
Matter vs no such thing as matter
Time vs no such thing as time
There are certain foods we shouldn’t eat vs eat whatever the body can use to stay balanced
Gravity is a strong force exerted on matter vs there is no gravity that is a strong force exerted on matter
Speed of light vs light has no speed
To name just a few.
But when we’re deliberately present in this moment, all of these opinions are just that…opinions and don’t matter except to temporarily make life interesting & fun as we explore & experience the unlimited possibilities in our existence.
There’s no absolute truth in this illusory reality yet Truth is as it is. When we’re present and free of compulsive thinking, we Know Truth. It resonates. That Knowing disappears, however, as soon as a conceptual thought arises in the mind.
