This early winter morning, after doing my usual exercises, warmed up, flexible and full of vigor, I dressed lightly and went out for a walk. I always check out the park nearby - I love walking on the ground covered with leaves and soft pine needles. This morning, I even had a treat - I got to slide on ice here and there!
I checked out the pond, all frozen on top, and a stream nearby, running as always. And I thought - movement = life, though, there is still life under the ice - it's just hibernating. I saw a herd of deer - they let me continue on my path, and I thanked them and sent them loud kisses :)
A few days ago, I left for them a whole big container of hawthorn berries I froze last summer. Hope, they enjoyed the treat.
Comparing the sleepy pond to the running brook, I thought of my good friend, who gets up after hard blows life bestows on her. She always takes charge of her own health, pushing herself to get better. Every morning now, she has been doing a vigorous exercises for 1 hr! She tries to improve her eating habits and thinking. She is that running brook! Yet, other people prefer for others to take care of them, even if they become treated as robots with the artificial resources. They are like that sleeping pond - they do have the inner resources, but they do not tap into them.
The last few days, I've been listening to the interviews of Khrushchev's son and a businessman / politician in the past who has been close to Putin. It is interesting to learn about the myths about Stalin and Putin - these people are so different than their images portrayed.
Unfortunately, many people follow propaganda news without questioning the truth - the other side of the coin.
C'est la vie... (such is life...)
I call many of my music pieces Perpetuum Mobile (perpetual motion), as I don't feel like stopping the music. I'm alive and that means, I'm doing something useful.
