Why do people take medicine for the rest of their life?
Because they live in fear.
Unlike, fixing a roof - you put a new roof - there is no more problem.
For some reason, people are convinced that they are supposed to have a constant blood pressure.
What is the function of the blood? To move, yes MOVE, nutrients and waste. If the person does not move, nor eat right, shouldn't the blood circulate with more pressure to supplement the inactivity? What happens if we shut it down? Same as in a still waters pond - algae will proliferate to eat the toxic accumulations. How much accumulation? It all depends on you. Will the drug help or interfere with the body working on maintaining homeostasis?
What is pain? A signal for us to wake up and support our body, mind and spirit. What happens if we shut it down?
What is neuropathy?
": damage, disease, or dysfunction of one or more nerves especially of the peripheral nervous system that is typically marked by burning or shooting pain, numbness, tingling, or muscle weakness or atrophy, is often degenerative, and is usually caused by injury, infection, disease, drugs, toxins, or vitamin deficiency
Each of the drugs comes with a long list of possible nasty side effects, ranging from liver and kidney damage to pancreatitis and neuropathy in the limbs." - from Merriam Webster
When I was working on a computer all day long, I used to run in the morning, do aerobics during lunch, and do exercises after work. Plus always a walk at night. Summertime, I went straight to the beach after work. If I didn't, I would be in pain - my butt hurt. And that made perfect sense - I was sitting on it, compressing the cells and blocking the circulation.
Each job / lifestyle comes with its demands on our body. Nowadays, I stand while composing on my computer. I started feeling discomfort in my feet and knees. What should I do? Take breaks to walk, jump on a trampoline, swim, go hiking, stretch. Eat more raw nourishing foods / drink fresh juices.
What is your excuse? :)
