Everything in nature has a rhythm, energy and balancing - the plants need rich soil, water, insects and animals to grow and strive, just like we do.
Have you ever smelled your itchy skin? I did - on my eyelids. Sometimes, it smelled like vinegar, sometimes sweet, like a fermenting apple. I smelled the same outside of my nostrils, which I initially thought was condensation. This is how my cells are getting rid of unnecessary stuff by fermenting / liquifying it - so interesting!
Every internal organ, every tiny cell in our body performs a function, yet, they all work together, like an orchestra - if one instrument / performer is either too week or otherwise, the whole harmony / sound will be different. What sophisticated beings we are!
We can not be separated from the environment we live in and its energy / rhythms. Little sea mollusks adapt to the ocean tides - when the tides recedes, they get active, plants and wildlife live by the laws of night and day, seasonal changes.
In Oriental medicine, there is a concept of Circadian Clock - the 2-hr intervals when our organs are more active or at rest. Some people have trouble sleeping at night. It might be worth it to look into which organs are overworking...
