Let's face it - no-one likes being in pain.
Yet - pain is the signal that something physical and / or emotional in our whole being needs our attention.
Think about it.
It does not happen or come all of a sudden from nowhere. Could it be that there was a misalignment getting worse, accumulation of toxins, a stagnant emotion that caused a spasm or eliciting a learnt response? Sometimes, we even get injured because something was imbalanced already.
Here are some easy-to-relate examples.
Accumulation
Think of a recycling sight. We keep on bringing our let's say bottles, to recycle. If the recycling bins are not being emptied, they will start spilling over. If our kidneys, liver, skin, lymphatic system, etc. are being dumped on too much, they will not be able to process anymore our trash.
Pain from an injury
If I get hurt, besides supplying more nourishment and re-building "materials", I make sure to address my emotions and alignment as soon as possible, and try to relax.
When I had broken ribs, to fall asleep, I listened to relaxation tapes. Another time, I used essential oils and even went swimming. I find acupressure useful as well. And of course, nutritional support.
Emotional pain
Our body reacts to our mind. I love using essential oils to support whatever feelings I need to. When I'm not sure of the source of my pain, I pay attention to the first memory that may resurface and address it.
I have many examples in my book, personal and of people I attended to, of injuries, digestion and emotional issues. My preference is usually to use essential oils for a more effective body, mind and spirit support.
What is inflammation?
Think simply "digestion" - our body is burning undigested accumulated food.
