I recently watched an interview with Sergei Khrushchev, the son of Nikita Khrushchev, the leader of the Soviet Union during the Cold War, about Stalin. Stalin led the Soviet Union before and after the World War II and so many people believed in him as if he were a God. After his death, the truth about his rule and personality was publicly revealed - Stalin was a dictator - despot, murdered millions of innocent, common folk and talented people, and a coward, among some of his traits. In fact, when Germany attacked USSR, he ran away and hid in his suburban home. Yet, for so many years, before his rulership and after, so many people believed in him, even when they were led to their death, and nowadays.
Sergei Khrushchev explains why people have that trust in him - the truth was revealed at once and it was hard for people to accept that their God was a criminal. During Stalin's rulership people lived in fear - anyone could be a spy or simply lie about you and you would end up in jail, sent to a concentration camp or disappear (get shot). And this era lasted for so many years...
If we were to look at the present-day conventional medicine, for example, the use of drugs in the mental and physical "disorders", the contagion theory, the story above would be a great lesson. So many people blindly trust the medical science. Yet, if you were to carefully examine and scrutinize their theories, you may change your beliefs. I was on the trust myself for so many years, until I had personal experiences that made me think otherwise. Now, as we say in Russian, "I don't take anything for a clean coin" , meaning, I don't blindly believe.
I recently had an interesting experience at the dentist after a numbing shot to my upper gum / muscle area - I felt the numbing all the way in my eye! That should be of no surprise, as my nerve was blocked below. Yet, this is a great analogy to how our body functions or better say, gets out of balance when we have deposits of dead or toxic cells inside.
Our magnificent body knows how to sustain itself, as long as we support it. What some may believe in our body attacking itself or over-reacting, is actually, our body keeping itself in the homeostasis - removing unwanted waste, repairing, and using the nourishment to sustain its life.
What is the difference between a fairytale and real life? - We do not believe in fairy tales.
