It makes me happy when someone asks me a question about being healthy, as I have been on my journey since 2002.
"Is juice fasting, particularly on wheatgrass, is "a better way to detoxify than water fasting" ?
First off, "fasting" means not eating or drinking
Here is a question back - can a flower open up until a plant goes through all the growing stages, first appearing from the ground, then growing a stem, developing a bud, etc.? Can it grow without the right conditions? What happens if it's treated with chemicals? Will the damage to the tender plant hault its development? If we were to give it too much water and a very healthy soil, will it benefit from it or be shocked?
Basically, "too much of a good thing" may be harmful. I believe in listening to your body. For some people, a small amount of wheatgrass juice, or maybe even diluted, to start off with may be sufficient.
I have fasted in the past, gradually going in and out. It did feel good as my body was doing one less chore :) One time, I did it because I was curious and thought, it would be good for me. Other times, my body forced me into not eating, as I was too upset. At one point, it was very painful and could have been even fatal. So I learned not to torture myself emotionally and physically :) for a time being, anyways :) I acquired the experience and wisdom.
Do I buy wheatgrass or grow my own?
It's always better to grow your own, and it's so simple. I have quite a few videos on my To Be Or Not To Be - "FDA Approved YouTube playlist, and quite a bit of information on my websites, blogs and my book.
Do I believe in juicing? Of course, and when your body needs it.
Good luck transforming!!!
