A short history of our dog before I get into the tumor.
When we got our dog Pepper, according to the blood test, she had serious problems with all her internal organs, including kidneys and heart. Her digestion and food she was given before we got her were completely off - toxic and unbalanced. Plus she was traumatized being given away at 2 years of age.
I really felt for her and let her sleep with us and gave her the tastiest healthy raw food (a total switch for Pepper - she thought that a carrot was a toy, for example). I would hold a chicken or a turkey drumstick, and Pepper would rip the pieces off of it and have some of the crunchy ends. She was also doing great digesting marrow from bones and oxtail bones. That would be her first meal of the day. At night, she loved and still does eating pea soup - or rather peas porridge. She also would have fruit and veggies, raw eggs, sometimes cooked table food.
We also walked, ran and biked (I would put her in the basket on the way home if the trip was very long :) )
14 + years forward - Pepper is still running and even doing zoomies for 15 min! The difference is in how more attentive we are to her, since her mindlessness set in. Maybe, I should have continued giving her drumsticks more regularly. Somehow, I started giving her raw ground meat (organs and bones pet food ) and not enough bones to chew on - that may effected her brain as well as she was not exercising those jaws. Pepper also got a tumor behind her right armpit. Initially, the tumor was hard. Then it became soft. I have tried different essential oils, but with no visible success.
One day, when Pepper seemed out of balance, like a drunken person, I rubbed Animal Scents ointment on the top of her spine and around the bottom of her head, dripping and massaging in valerian and frankincense essential oil. The good results were noticeable, though the house smelled of oils :) Another time, I rubbed Clarity™ essential oils blend in a similar fashion, though I didn't see much improvement in her mindlessness. Though, a few days later now, adding the chiropractic treatment and slowly absorbing blend (I did it intentionally, using the ointment as the base, and it's still smelling), I begin to notice good results.
A few days ago we went for a vet checkup and he told us that she has heart murmurs. Now I see why she got a tumor - all these years we thought that she had really bad kidneys (according to the blood test). Yet, I noticed that her bladder is better than mine - she can hold so much liquid for such long time!
I would say, years of vaccines, chemically laden foods and pesticides in our area have not helped Pepper.
Now, I have Pepper on 1/3 of CardioGize™ capsule (herbs and essential oils) mixed in with the honey, sea buckthorn and sea moss.
It's one day at a time... Better nutrition, long walks - whatever Pepper is up to...
Update 4/7/2024
Pepper’s tumor is shrinking! I have been giving her the capsule to support her heart ( which we didn’t even finish yet), giving her bones and keeping her off raw farm ground chicken pet food - she is having a raw turkey drumstick instead. She has to work hard, pulling, chewing and crushing that drumstick The weather is warmer and Pepper is walking and running outside - all good!
Update 4/11/2024 (my mom's birthday)
The tumor is gone!
2 days ago, it seemed bigger, but softer. I gave her a little bit of the new capsule (I simply cracked it) in the morning, and then Pepper slept for a few hours (a sign of healing).
How good is that!
I will continue giving her the capsule here and there - she didn't have any yesterday or today.
How long did Pepper have that tumor? At least a year.
Update 4/26/2024
The tumor is still there, but getting smaller all the time.
Btw, our dog has a YouTube playlist and a Facebook page :)
