When there is an earth quake, the structures that are not built well will collapse and maybe crumble, right?
What do you think happens to our body/mind/spirit when we are under stress?
Every person reacts differently - depending on where their body/mind/spirit are weakened, that's where they will experience more discomfort.
Yet, it may be quite beneficial for us:
we will shed dysfunctional toxic load
focus on the issues we have ignored or did not pay attention to
hopefully, improve the situation instead of putting a lid on it, deaden or shutting it up
Here is a good example of someone taking care of the situation.
A few months ago, someone turned to me for advice about her stomach problems. Many, many years ago, I was in a miserable state myself, experiencing excruciating stomach pain. In fact, it happened to me repeatedly and it took me years, until I learned to change my emotional thinking. Back then, I juiced and didn't eat until my body was not acidic and relaxed. I documented it in my book, websites and blogs to share with others.
When this young lady turned to me for advice, I shared with her different approaches to getting better so that she could pick what she was most comfortable with.
I'm grateful for her sharing with me afterwards her experience. I will comment below on her story.
"I got diagnosed with gastritis after a few weeks of horrible ailments. I am still detoxing I believe because I am having horrible anxiety as an aftermath. Anyway I was unable to eat without belching and horrible stomach pains. I had an over exaggerated amount of stomach acid in my stomach. I would regurgitate food, I would have diarrhea and I really could only eat boiled food with olive oil once a day. I lost 20 pounds in a month. I was prescribed Pantoprazole and Pepcid AC for the acid and only took it 2x. It helped a bit but the juicing of carrots, celery and apples is what helped along with broth.

My liver enzymes were elevated as well and I was diagnosed with .001% of liver damage which thankfully is not awful and totally reversible. Also drinking decaffeinated green tea and using a castor oil wrap helped as well.
My liver enzymes are back to normal but as I said I am experiencing anxiety now so I am trying to help myself through this at the moment. Definitely stay away from red meat if possible. If you must have meat have grilled chicken or fish."
Eating before bedtime is the worst! Everything just sits
The prescription was pantoprazole. It was an anti acid. It helped but I read awful things about it so I only took it two times.
It definitely felt uncomfortable. It stopped the acid but I felt like my stomach was blocked.
It was in my stomach Not intestines
It felt like the food wasn’t moving
I got an ultrasound and blood work
Ultrasound showed excessive gas in my stomach
But nothing else
I didn’t get a endoscopy"
Gastritis, belching, stomach pains - this is how our body is trying to wake us up to change and take care of ourselves. It says to relax and stop eating bad foods.
Pain is how our body communicates to us, our brain, body and our spirit.
Our nervous system transcends every single cell. The body says to the brain that it's fed up from all the abuse. Time to burn the toxins ("gastritis") , close the kitchen (belching) and relax (stomach pain - a signal to put your hands on the painful spot and stop everything).
Belching (gas) and acidity - the body was acidic to the max from neglect, undigested food may be sitting and literally composting (putrefying) inside the colon. It does not matter what medical labels you put. It is just that simple. You have clogged your system.
What happens when we stress out? Our adrenals fire up hormones, we produce acid - that's the earthquake shaking us up.
She lost 20 toxic pounds. Years ago, when I went to Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute in Puerto Rico, I lost about 11 1/2 lbs in 4 weeks, and I was only 102 lbs at the time. I gained a lot of energy. Therefore, the weight I lost must have been not needed.
Her Liver enzymes were elevated - the body had to do a lot of work. Our body is intelligent and is always striving to reach homeostasis.
What she forgot to mention, as this happened already a few months ago, she started juicing greens every day. She used the Norman Walker's juicing recipes I sent her copies of.
As far as medication to stop the acid and pain - I'm glad she stopped using them and chose to solve the problem instead of shutting her whole being up until the next maybe even worse symptoms.
The more we resist what our whole being (body, mind and spirit) is trying to do to reach homeostasis, the more it will fight back.
We are like a big complex puzzle made up of so many tangible and intangible holographic pieces that are in constant motion :) See this, react to that, need to add here, remove there, replace this, and so on and on... perpetually.
And this is just one part of the story... :)
