I love watching the transformations in nature.
Now is autumn - abundance of transformation! Leaves changing colors, some carried by winds to streams of water, and some, quietly drying up under the trees. Dry leaves may first turn into a warm winter cover for the trees' roots, and then eventually break up into minerals, mixed with the soil, thanks to the worms, chipmunks, crickets and tiny microorganisms. The leaves in the water streams will rot and eventually get to a stream bank, drying and turning into dust...
Same in our body - processes constantly flow transforming our body. Food, skin, blood. We just need to listen to and focus on our own body.
The other day, my friend told me she woke up in the middle of the night, bloated. She did not realize that having an apple after not digesting a cracker with cheese may cause fermentation. The apple gets digested faster, yet, it was being blocked by the slow-digesting cracker.
I love how our body liquifies what it needs to expel, sometimes even fermenting, turning it to vinegar. Have you ever smelled your skin on the itchy eyelids?
The outside conditions around us may make some of us feel better, depending on their lifestyle. For example, some may enjoy humid and hot air, which may assist the body in expelling waste.
And so on...
Now let me ask you this question: if you were to eat sauerkraut - would it attack you? :) How about a dried herb?
