I'm watching this great video on Applied Kinesiology about muscles that hurt.
Where the nerves are blocked or cut off, the muscles do not hurt. What hurts then?
The muscles that are doing the work for the severed muscles.
This is why I would not go to a chiropractor for an adjustment, nor ever take a pain-killer or a shot.
What do I do? Tai Chi, Yoga, etc. working on the WHOLE BODY, flexibility, muscle tone. I especially love swimming and taking a bath to relax all my muscles.
In another video, she talks about somatic vs. autonomic nervous system problems.
It's interesting to learn that people who do involuntary movements while conversing, biting on a pen, etc. have problems with their autonomic nervous system. (peripheral nervous system is divided to somatic (voluntary) and autonomic (involuntary) ) And btw, in these cases, she mentions using my favorite essential oils!
