It's not possible to have one recipe / cure for everyone, just like it's impossible to know what triggered some health imbalance, as it's All connected.
What I firmly believe is that if I pay attention to myself, focus on what I'm doing, I'll help myself get well. When in pain, I always tell myself that my body knows what it's doing. Pain is communication. All I have to do is support my body / mind / spirit to get better physically and esthetically. For example, doing something enjoyable takes my mind off from pain. Of course, I do what I can to support my body physically too - do alignment exercises, use essential oils if need be, etc..
Below is the latest personal painful stomach experience.
Copying from my Facebook account.
"A few days ago, I got an emotional blow to the point my stomach turned into a lifeless entity. I helped myself by taking a bath, then laying down and putting my hands on it. And I told myself to calm down. My body responded quickly by relaxing- the back muscles relaxed releasing the tension, the headache went away and I dosed off.
We have everything we need right at our disposal.
I still can’t eat, but drink water and celery and cucumber juice. But it’s ok"
"remember that the nerves to the stomach start from spine. And you can massage the knots out. Today, I used RutaVala on my back and my stomach. Helped a lot. Myrrh internally, aloe, warm drink of goat milk, honey and water. Can’t eat still "
"Update - I felt much better today and thought to try to eat. I had a little mango then I made a vegetable soup, then mango again. It didn’t go well yet. Btw, I discovered that Raventsara essential oil taken internally (just a lick) helped my stomach. I used RutaVala again externally, as I described already "
"My heart is thumping, and I know why - I haven’t eaten for a few days because I wasn’t hungry and my stomach wasn’t ready either.
I just had a hot drink of water, raw goat milk and honey- that’s what I wanted. I sat down and rubbed RutaVala (lavender, valerian and Rita blend of essential oils) on my chest, back and vagus nerve ( the connection of head and body), and lied down. I have things to do this morning, and actually am feeling relaxed now.
I am learning to listen to my body. The fact that my stomach gets affected emotionally tells me what I have known for the longest time- I eat with my eyes and my brain, and not when I am hungry. That puts unnecessary strain on it. Plus I don’t always eat right.
Everything in our body is connected: when one organ or part of the body is overstimulated, the other part may not get enough energy. And so on - like in a chain.
Many people would disagree and push me to eat now - no. I will know when I am ready.
It also could be an acquired emotional response of my body
Anyways, I need to support what I got"
The next day, in the morning, when giving tuna to our cat, I stole a fork-full for myself, adding home-made mayonnaise. It actually felt good. Remembering about having to eat some greens, I had a leaf of green lettuce and some cucumber.
The next little snack unfortunately was not so little - I had raw cheddar cheese. That backfired, as my pain came back and I had to take care of myself as described above.
Btw, that day, in the morning, after drinking, even though I was in pain, I went outside for a walk, jugged a little and did my usual headstand and monkey bars.
When taking a bath, I massaged my stomach looking for sore spots. I would press on it, letting go of the pain. Looking for a video to share about this with my friends, I came across a comprehensive YouTube video from Dr. Berg on causes of abdominal pain and bloating.
After listening to the video, I decided to go back to doing urine therapy. Being a vegetarian, and not eating much, my urine looked clear, had no smell and looked golden. Many years ago, I practiced it when I had serious stomach issues. Back then, I juiced papaya, drank water and my urine for weeks. When people have a burn, urine is amazing at assisting the body in healing and lessening pain. That's just one of its properties. I have a few books urine therapy I studied and practiced then.
So that's what I resorted to - just drinking urine and water, starting before bedtime.
The result was fantastic! It cleaned out my digestive tract and I felt great the next day. in the morning, I did a hand stand, did a circle of monkey bars and alignment exercises. I drank hot water with honey and raw goat milk, then later had some fresh aloe, and later on, some fresh mango, tahini and a spoon of steamed apple. I had no problems!
In the afternoon, around 2:30 pm, I felt the same symptoms again... Going for a walk helped, though, I did have a drink of my fresh urine.
Sometime later, I had some tahini, and then enjoyed a piece of steamed sweet yam with Udo's Choice oil.
I know, I'm getting much better, and will have to continue doing whatever my body will ask for.
Btw, it's interesting to notice how the top of my pinky get bluish and hurts when I'm having digestive issues. Top of the pinky is where the small intestine meridian starts.
Btw, I have more useful information on supporting the stomach Balancing Stomach post
