Looks like I have to stop eating cheese again. I feel mucusy in my left nostril, and it started tickling in my throat.
I did not do anything to help myself for a few days, but now the time has come :)
I took eucalyptus essential oil - 3 drops in 5 teas ( cooled, in a spoon), held it in my mouth, especially making sure it gets to my palate and under the tongue, then slowly swallowed. Then did the same with DiGize. I stopped coughing right away. May have to repeat.
I could even mix the essential oils with a vegetable oil and rub inside my nose and on top of my sinuses. Maybe I will later. Will see.
I went back to bed, Cheddar laid down right next to my face, and I hugged him, burying my nose in his fluffy fur/
I don’t know why I have not had much veggies as of late. I finally made cabbage salad - so delicious!
I bought my favorite tomatoes yesterday - that enticed me to have salads.
Yesterday, I met a good acquaintance of mine who shared with me about her suffering from "diverticulitis" . She was sitting on her porch and suffering from pain. I shared with her about my recent painful stomach triggered by my emotions. And that's what she was experiencing also! I explained to her about stomach valves and showed her exercises how to close them, told her that eating late and overeating may not be good, etc.
On my way back from the store, I left a few tea packets for her, and then sent her a link to this website about the stomach issues. Hope, this will help...
Oh yes, I also explained to her how pain signals the body where it needs balancing, and that taking meds interferes with this process.
And I calmed her down, explaining how we can still function with so little liver function ( not that I would want to )
Speaking of pain, I will now rub eucalyptus blend on my sinuses and MGrain blend on my neck and head, plus cinnamon blend on my feet.
Which I did! It felt great right after the Eucalyptus. I did the other 2 as well and put on wool sweater and socks on to stay warm.
Pain is a great guide to where I can support my body. :(
After rubbing all the blends on, and even licking the MGrain, I had hibiscus tea with lemon, and plenty of lemon juice by itself - that's what I felt like. Feeling some nausea reminded me to address my liver. I did not feel like taking the blend internally, so instead, I simply diluted it with the hemp vegetable oil and rubbed it on. (I bet Cheddar, our cat, will not want to sleep with me now )
Now that I'm up, I'm moving around, washing dishes with hot water (feels good on my hands), and will do some exercises.
I decided to do more support for my body - I rubbed the nerve supporting blend on my head and neck where it hurt ( coinciding with the acupressure points), and finally, I felt like making my favorite drink with NingXia Nitro, mixing it with the hibiscus tea, adding frankincense resin tea, sea buckthorn oil and a few drops of Sacred Frankincense, lemon myrtle and red shot blend. Now I feel like a million bucks!
It felt great to hold my hand on top of my head where it hurt, then to press on my temples and release the jaws. I need to relax all the tension now.
Cheddar is waiting to go outside So I put my hat on and ready to go
Years ago, I wondered how I could incorporate using essential oils into the Jin Shin Do (acupressure) . I realize now that it's impossible for me to follow all the theories I have learned over the years - I do what makes sense at the moment. Saving my mom's life comes to mind - while my family was deciding what hospital she had to go, I screamed and told the emergency crew to take her right away...
Come to think of it, I saved my friend from drowning years ago :) ...
P.S. I also took 2 Inner Defense capsules (Thieves formula).
I did not stop eating cheese - I eat what my body is asking.
Btw, here is a very informative post on acupressure points for sinuses:
