What makes the garbage can stink - its contents or the garbage can? :)
We know that our skin is our largest active organ and we know that our body always strives to maintain health. Just watch how it heals a cut - amazing!
I remember, a few years ago, there was an "outbreak" of red algae in Florida. It was discovered that a plant was dumping toxic waste in the river which flowed in the ocean. The red algae was simply eating away the toxic materials. Same in our body - not enough movement, toxic thinking and nutrition - you get the picture...
Sometime ago, I had a skin rash that looked like what they label a "ringworm". Instead of working against my body, I simply let it finish its job of recycling and repairing. In a short while the spot cleared.
Then I have been having a reoccurring dark spot in the same place on my face. Even though, I understand that maybe my liver, spleen, lymph, etc. may need support, I do not want the spot on my face now :) . I rubbed peppermint essential oil to increase the oxygen flow to the skin tissues (I observed in the past how my skin gets bleached, though only temporarily, after rubbing peppermint essential oil on). I also have rubbed the liver blend, OrthoEase massage oil mixed with AromaLife, and a wrinkle cream at different times, Frankincense essential oil, though I rubbed them just ones, checking to see the results. The spot got lighter. Now that I discovered patchouli's interesting properties, I will try it too.
I understand, I need to cleanse and nourish my body from within to look healthier. And I actually love fresh veggies and fruit, so I can do it!
By the way, since the time I remember myself, I had a dark spot on my upper right arm. As I got older, people would warn me to watch it. I understand that black skin is a dead skin. I finally decided to experiment :) Yes, peppermint essential oil was instrumental. At one point, a piece of black skin simply came off. Now, the spot looks pale. Maybe, I will pay attention to it later :) or would rather work on making myself healthier following my wholistic approach - let my body do what it knows best! :) And this is why sometimes, I don't watch for immediate results.
Funny thing how I didn't appreciate how I looked when I was younger :) Well, now, each moment counts - I want to look good and feel good!
P.S. If I find a picture of that black skin piece that came off my arm, I'll add it to this post. I wish, I documented it...
