Growing up, we had a small tea kettle with a metal strainer for tea infusion.
We used to put loose tea in it and fill it up with hot water to brew concentrated tea.
Then, a little of this tea was poured into each person's tea cup full with hot water.
I have not acquired a small tea kettle yet. What I do is brew a few teas in a glass container and take a little of it to mix with whatever I'm drinking the tea with (lemon or goat milk with a drop of vanilla and a little grape juice or rosehips infusion, or my favorite NingXia Nitro), adding hot water back to my tea brew. I leave it sitting on my kitchen counter and use it within a day or two. I also like to use my teas to defrost fruit, to my raw goat yogurt, and so on.
Some people brew hot tea in their thermos.
The longer the tea is infused, the more flavorful.
My favorite tea mix is peppermint, lavender, chamomile, fennel, lemon balm, licorice root and Slique tea (Jade oolong tea, inulin, ocotea leaf (Ocotea quixos), Ecuadorian cacao powder, Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) fruit extract, frankincense powder (Boswellia sacra), and natural stevia extract). It is relaxing and good for digestion.
Have you tried linden or hibiscus teas? Also my favorite.
I also like kava and wild herbs, roots and tree leaves.
I just never know what and when I may want to enjoy :)
