Years ago, I remember the feeling of still watching a movie myself, after leaving a movie theater.
When watching a movie, I paid attention to every detail the camera in the film focused on. Out of the movie theater, I carried the same experience of noticing every detail of what was happening around me.
Nowadays, I like focusing on my arms when doing Tai Chi. Or taking a walk in a park, watching the nature. It helps my mind to re-charge.
Another great mind-focusing I do is observing myself - watching my thoughts and behavior. It gives me time to be less reactive.
