I love wraps. Growing up, my favorite ones were cooked in water dough wraps with cooked ground meat mixed with fried onions. My mom also made white sweetened cheese wraps, or maybe we put some sweet syrup over - I can't remember now.
I have been a raw vegetarian since 2002, since my mom passed away - there was no-one to push me to eat what I didn't want anymore, because "it was good for me, and I had to have more meat". So now, I make my own wraps. My favorite as of late are with a sheet of dried sea weed. I actually break it into 4 squares and fill up each square with what I want to eat. Here, I have sprouts and greens with a nut butter, and marinated tomato and cucumber on the side. This is what I craved, meaning, my body needed those nutrients.
Simple.
In Georgia, Caucasus, for example, they eat a small piece of meat with lots of greens. When I was pregnant with my son, I had to eat meat because I had a strong craving for it. Maybe, this has to do with the body type - his is of a hunter, and mine is of a gatherer. Or maybe, simply, this is what my body was missing at the time. All I did and do is listen to my body, trying to provide it with the non-toxic, least processed nutrients.
I have improved my eating habits after being sick recently - I concentrate on what I'm eating, slowly chewing and enjoying each bite or a drink. I eat when I'm hungry. As a result, I eat much less and not late. Look forward to see improvements in my appearance :)
It's not the age that makes us look old - it's how we live.
