A good acquaintance of mine complained to me the other day about the pain she had from "diverticulitis" and asked me what she should do.
First off, I simply reminded her that all she had was gas from undigested food.
The lady is amazing - at 87, she is still working at a store part-time. Unfortunately, even though she is into non-toxic foods, her lifestyle is sedentary. - she does not go for walks to get fresh air or sunshine. When she needs to get a remedy to feel better, she uses a pendulum to help her decide.
I feel otherwise - our body knows what it needs. If we are present, we know when and what to eat or not.
Having a disease label attaches an element of fear and confusion - what do I do? I'm not well.
If you look at the complex functions our body performs, no other man-made machine is capable of - why distrust? Because someone else tells you so? :) Who is the master of your body, mind and soul?
We are made of organic materials. If we accumulate too much extra either organic or inorganic stuff, our body will try to rid itself of this toxic load. If the internal organs are overburden, your body will envelop what's not needed in fat or other deposits, to take them out of the circulation (blood and lymph).
It is really all that simple.
Your body will force you to do what it needs to get back into balance, as long as you don't go against it.
Note: besides labeling our body, mind and spirit normal functions to reach homeostasis, conventional medicine labels reactions to the medicines as "side effects". Why interfere with your whole being in the first place?
