Dear friends,
When my son was very young, we went to a science museum. One display attracted my little explorer - how the water was running in the sand. Where the flow was blocked, the stream could not go through and carry a woodchip.
Taking a walk this morning, I remembered this and thought to compare that experience to how the blood and lymph can or cannot carry nutrients to our cells.
Every time I have had a physical problem, I have done everything I knew to make my body work well. I addressed it all - the emotions, moving, alignment, flexibility, muscles, living foods, fresh air - such simple variables.
My awakening and transformation began 19 years ago after I watched my mom's sufferings. After her death, I had beginning stages of "arthritis". My solution was to follow the advice of Norman Walker - juicing and eating raw living vegan foods I love. That time, it took me 2 months to get rid of the calcination in my hand.
The next time, when I had serious stomach issues, I concentrated on juicing again (at night too) and not eating until my body was ready. Going to the emergency or doing the crazy tests was not appealing to me.
Now, I realize that being calm is the first step to any rebalancing. I know how amazing our sophisticated being is and trust it to teach me whatever lesson I need. Every day and every moment!
I have been mostly a vegetarian since 2002 - a conscious choice, as I love animals. Even eating sprouts and greens has been a mental battle for me, as these are living.
When we get a cut, our intelligent body heals itself. It has all the resources at its disposal. Some people will heal faster than others. Why? Maybe because they are healthier. Note, that if we were to have a big meal, it would take our energy to digest it instead of concentrating on healing. :)
Even swallowing a liquid requires our digestive enzymes, which are so plentiful in our mouth. Imagine how much work our intestines have to do if we do not chew well!
At the Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute in Puerto Rico, we did a quiet lesson of swallowing wheatgrass juice and chewing a small piece of carrot. We even chewed the juice by swishing it in our mouth about 20 times, and thoroughly chewed on a piece of carrot to the point of almost liquifying it! Try it and see how long it takes you.
I often observe my dog - she knows when and what grass to eat, when and what to drink, lets me know when she is done walking, and when to go inside before the rain. I bet, if I were to be focused and present all the time, I would do better as well.
Years ago, I changed my website not to use the medical labels. Why even use medical terminology - to own a disease? We are not robots. We are constantly re-balancing as our body is striving to reach homeostasis. This is another reason why I love Oriental medicine, as it views us as part of the Universe and constantly transforming.
Everything our sophisticated body does is highly intelligent: inflammation of any sort to burn toxins, pain for communication. So why should I use the medical terminology which is anti-body, mind and spirit, and labels symptoms as disease of unknown causes?
Every time I have a "problem", I am calm and analyze what I need to correct. And not superficially.
Yesterday, I heard on the radio about a 114-year old woman, who did not lead a completely healthy lifestyle. I bet, she had a strong mind which kept her body in vibrational balance. Meaning, the energy was there for her body cells to exist. We may prolong or shorten our life with how we think.
Since 2002, after loosing my mom, I started my transformation, spiritual and nutritional.
I always shared my experience and knowledge with my friends via emails, then websites and blogs. Eventually, I decided to sum it all up in my book AromatherapyCare4U or Transformation With Aromatherapy. My thoughts were to give a simplified approach to learning all I learnt since 2002 and earlier., including raw living foods recipes.
What's in the future for me? Learning and transformation, every day!
Love, Always,
Eugeniya
